Looks like we're getting more momentum here on the forum! Everyone please add your thoughts, ideas, accomplishments, etc. where they fit. This should be our sounding board & think tank for any and all projects ;-)

once our coordinator training starts, this will be part of protocol to maintain status as a leader or coordinator... it is not unreasonable to need leadership of an international company to have basic computer capabilities every town has a library and most of us have some internet connection

Speaking of everyday, Joe, I was thinking that the people in prison don't get days off, to go to the park or see family, it's every miserable day. If this is the case with a single person (which I wish was the case) then how can I not make the simplest of efforts on their behalf everyday? So, anybody got ideas on easy things a person could do each day, even if they're busy?

Oh Evan, welcome to the forum... where oh where to begin. You'll be a 7 day a weeker before you know it ~ the passion will just take hold & you won't be able to help yourself ;-) What are your talents and where do you like to focus your efforts? We need help in pretty much every department ~ where do you see yourself fitting in? We have court support, prison outreach, media, graphics, social media, etc you name it ~ we need help with it! ;-)

One of the problems I have come across during my years of activism, It's just a PrimalInstinct to fear the unknown. IE: As TXNORML Veterans Liaison, nobody wanted to be seen at a function for fear of losing their Benes. Contacting State legislators meant exposing themselves to "Lists" (engage spooky music) So I took the Lead and showed them being out in the open was not so bad, If they are spending time and money watching me Then Somebody else is getting away :-) And That is a worthy function and Honorable Duty :-)

I would say setting up a corrlinks account and having a quick email with a prisoner.. costs nothing and you don't even have to find a piece of paper also placing craig's list ads reposting events blogs and pages..... as Tom Korby says, I am not a man of brevity either......

I have seen so many facebook profiles and such used as evidence.. sorry I have rat issues
